Our Story
From our founder's desk
Guided Hearts was founded out of my own need to enhance my first child's education about Islam, which I felt was insufficient both at home and in school.
Despite attending a Muslim school, he wasn't receiving the foundational knowledge I had hoped for. This led me to enroll him in a Madrasah and began an extensive search for a high-quality Madrasah in my area.
As parents, we pay close attention to certain details when choosing schools for our children. I searched for desirable qualities, but unfortunately, none of the local Madrasahs met my standards.
This gap ignited the inspiration to create a center of knowledge for my children and other Muslims globally.
In 2017, we launched Guided Hearts Madrasah as an onsite institution in Lekki, Lagos. Then we moved to a virtual madrasah in 2020 during COVID-19, and we have grown significantly Alhamdulillah.
Today, we impart Islamic knowledge to Muslim families across five continents and aim to extend our unique services to even more families soon.
